What is Water Cooling Tower?

Cooling Towers are structured cells or units consists mainly from fans mounted on FRP or Galvanized steel structure, sprinkler nozzles, PVC fillers, and water basin.

Cooling Towers are usually connected to the condenser side of water chillers to cool down the condenser water temperature by transferring heat to the air by spraying water onto the filling system.

Material of Construction:

The water cooling towers are manufactured from fiberglass reinforced polyester composite FRP material which provides great advantages.

This material used as body, water basin & fan stack.

Galvanized steel material can be supplied upon request.

Cooling Capacity:

We can provide FRP Packaged Cooling Tower capacity Up to 1500 RT per each cell.

Area of Usage, Fields & Industries:

  • District Cooling & HVAC Projects which use water cooled chillers for:
    • Airports
    • Malls
    • Hospitals
    • High Rise Buildings and Towers
    • Business Centers
    • Complexes and Compounds
  • Industrial Fields:
    • Refining and Petro-Chemical Plants
    • Steel & Pipes Mills
    • Plastic Factories
    • Aluminum Factories
    • Chemical Industries
    • Cement Plants
    • Textile Mills
    • Pharmaceuticals Industry
    • Oil Factories
    • Paper Mills
    • Carbon Dioxide Facilities
    • Water Treatment Plants
    • Food and Drinks Industry

Advantages of FRP Packaged Cooling Towers:

  • High Strength and Thermal Properties
  • Durable and Excellent Elasticity
  • Very light Weight
  • Corrosion Free
  • Excellent Die-electric Properties
  • Design Flexibility

The SMART FRP Packaged Cooling Towers:

Our Cooling Towers are designed to realize the optimum cooling.

The internal and external surface of the tower is from Gel-Coat material which is resistance against all weather conditions and UV-rays, non-fading, non-rotting, which is colored with polyester based pigments.

What are the parameters required to estimate cooling tower?

  • Cooling Capacity:

The cooling load that system required or designed to (KW, kcal/h, T.R.)

  • Water Flow Rate:

The amount of circulation water per unit of time (m3/h, gpm, l/s)

  • Tower Water Inlet Temperature (T-in):

Temperature of incoming water from process to the cooling tower (°C, F)

  • Tower Water Outlet Temperature(T-out):

Temperature of water returning to the process from the tower (°C, F)

  • Wet Bulb Temperature:

The temperature that water would decrease most by evaporation. It changes according to the relative humidity, dry-bulb temperature and altitude (°C, F)
